How to Install geda software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

geda software package provides GPL EDA -- Electronics design software (metapackage), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install geda 

geda is installed in your system.

Make ensure the geda package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep geda *

You will get with geda package name, version, architecture and description in a table
